Crystals have been around for millions of years, they have been used by various different civilisations around the world, like the Mayans, Native American Indians and Ancient Egyptians. They were used for meditation, for healing and in ceremonies.

Crystals are made up of one atom that multiplies and depending on the other elements in them and how much light they contain, how clear or opaque they are, depends on the healing qualities of that crystal. Where as we as humans are full of different atoms each with its own vibratory pattern and way of interacting with its surroundings. These each contain DNA and RNA.

Think of the body like an orchestra with millions of different instruments each with their own vibrations. When the body is stressed some areas of the body go out of tune. By using a crystal, like a tuning folk, we can bring these imbalances back into balance.

Crystals have the ability to hold and emit vibrations. Crystals interact with the human energy field and bring it back into balance and adjust the energies within the body. The cells within the human body contain electrical charge and when the crystal is used close to the body, within the Etheric Layer of our Aura, the crystal brings energy of the cells back into balance. Gemstones have the ability to absorb, reflect and radiate light in the form of energy. They increase the life force within the human and physical and subtle anatomy. When we give crystal healing we are looking for the root cause of the disease and treating that, not the physical symptom. Disease can result from physical, emotional, mental or spiritual imbalances. Things like the environment can affect the body, like pollution, electromagnetic fields and geopathic stress. Crystals allow the client's own inherent healing process to start. We often ignore the early warning signs of illness, until it's too late and we have the disease. By using crystals daily to open, clear and balance the chakras we can keep the life force energy flowing freely. A Crystal Therapist is working 'holistic' which means on the whole person, the mind, body and spirit.

Energy is known as 'Ki' in Japan, 'prana' in Indian and 'chi' in China, it is all around us, it flows into our body via the human energy field and enters our chakras, and it is then taken around the body via the meridians. Sometimes our chakras and meridians are blocked; this is when the physical body becomes imbalanced, due to too much negative energy entering the chakras. Crystals interact with the human energy field and bring it back into balance with the body.

Crystals work in three ways through vibration, colour and the properties found in the individual crystals. Each crystal has its own unique vibration which can be felt by people sensitive to the crystals energies. The mineral content when placed next to the skin is absorbed into the body. The colour of the crystal can be used injunction with the colours of the chakras.

It all depends on the individual and how the crystal energies work with that person.

What does a session involve?

" You will fill in a client questionnaire and have a chat.
" You will remain fully clothed throughout the session and crystals will be placed on and around various parts of the body. You will only be expected to remove your shoes, heavy outer clothing like jumpers, watches and jewellery.
" An energy assessment will be taken, to see how the chakras are functioning and which areas need clearing and balancing.
" Crystals are then placed on and around the body, while you relax; these will be checked at intervals by the therapist to see if the chakras are open and balanced.
" You will then have a chance to relay any thoughts and feelings you had during the session

What do I need to do after the session?

" When you go home try to relax and rest, to allow the bodies on natural healing process to start.
" Drink plenty of water to wash away any toxins from the body.
" Have a light meal so not to overload your stomach.
" Cut back on tea, coffee and alcohol.
" Avoid smoking if possible.
" Have good nights sleep.

You may find there may be a temporary worsening of any symptoms, possibly a slight headache. Do not worry this is a sign of the treatment being affective and eliminating the toxins. However please contact me if you have any concerns.

Contra-Indications:

If you have a pacemaker it may be affected by the energy of the crystals and alter the rhythm.
Infectious and Contagious Diseases.
Sexual Transmitted and Veneral Disease.
Have a Stent Fitted.
Metal Pins and Plates.
Epilepsy the crystal energy may be too strong in some cases.
Early Pregnancy.
If under the influence of drink or drugs.
Severe Mental Health Issues.
During Severe Illness e.g. if you have the flu, please stay at home and rest, until you are no longer contagious and feeling better.

Treatments afterwards 1-11/2 Hours

£30.00 an hour.

Depending on the treatment needed to bring the body back into balance and how much energy the body can take in, in one session. Everyone is individual and have their own individual needs. It can also depend how open you are to working with the energies of the crystals.
